2023 witnessed a dynamic and multifaceted approach to keeping our members informed and engaged. Our comprehensive communication strategy employed a diverse range of channels, offering a rich tapestry of content that catered to varied preferences and learning styles.

Fostering Engagement and Knowledge Exchange

Alongside our pre-recorded webinars, we conduct live sessions focused on especially crucial topics or timely industry updates. In the year 2023, we organized four live webinars, attracting 910 registrants. These events provided our members with a valuable platform for engaging in real-time conversations with prominent industry leaders.

The Heart-to-Heart with HealthCap podcast is one way we convey important news and timely topics. Although we produced only two podcasts this year, they showcased industry experts Chad Worz, Chief Executive at the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, and Dr. David Gifford, Chief Medical Officer at AHCA/NCAL. These podcasts collectively garnered 367 downloads, reflecting a significant engagement with valuable insights from these distinguished professionals.



Timely and informative, our weekly emails served as a regular touchpoint, delivering succinct updates, highlights, and reminders directly to our audience's inboxes. This consistent communication ensured that our stakeholders remained well-informed and engaged with our ongoing initiatives.



Our blogs offered a space for in-depth exploration and analysis of pertinent topics. Written by Angie Szumlinski—our Director of Risk Management—these articles provided valuable perspectives, fostering a deeper understanding of industry challenges, solutions, and emerging trends.



In 2023 we started sending out Spotlight Emails. These emails concentrated on bringing attention to particular subjects of importance by featuring HealthCap webinars and resources. Furthermore, we showcased external resources that specifically address these targeted topics.

Over six months, the open and click rates exhibited a general upward trend, indicating increased engagement over time. It's noteworthy that November and December, traditionally marked by holidays, experienced a temporary decline in these rates. This seasonal dip aligns with the expected trend, as holiday periods often see a reduction in online activity and engagement.



Our curated collection of links to interesting articles served as a gateway to diverse perspectives and thought leadership. By providing access to external insights, we aimed to enrich the intellectual curiosity of our audience and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Keeping our audience at the forefront of industry discussions, our hot topic links directed attention to the latest and most relevant conversations.
